Termatch keeps Shopify's own search and adds synonyms and SKU search to it.

Getting started

1. Install Termatch from the Shopify App Store and choose a plan.
2. In your theme editor, open App embeds, switch on SKU & synonym search and click Save. The app links you straight there from its Home page.
3. Add synonym groups (for example stopcock, ball valve) under Synonym groups, or import a CSV.
4. Search your storefront: an exact SKU jumps straight to its product, and synonyms find each other.

Common questions

Does Termatch edit my theme? No. It works through an app embed you can switch off at any time, and turning it off restores your theme's normal search.

What are the _syn- and _sku- tags? Hidden tags the app adds so Shopify's search can find synonyms and SKUs. The app hides them on your storefront.

How do I remove everything? Before uninstalling, go to Settings › Before you uninstall and click Remove all synonyms and SKU tags. This removes every tag the app added; your own tags are never touched.
